We have recently assisted in the launch of a new wine brand to the UK. The Italian wine comes direct from the family run, traditionally crafted vineyard in the campania region of the country.
The brochure and website we produced are black and dark grey in colour which contrasts with the majority of the competition which use white and very clean minimalist look that seems popular with recent website trends.
For the same reason we used traditional serif fonts which are totally different to go against the trend of overused light and extra thin Sans serif fonts such as gill sans and helvetica neue.
We felt this would set them out from the rest but it meant our photographer had to be inventive with his studio setup and he had to build a bespoke black felt lined box to shoot the bottles in to prevent any unwanted reflections.
